Sian Jordan is a self-taught artist, with no further education in art, which has given Sian a raw and unique talent in expressing her own style. Sian admits she is influenced by many of her favourite artists but she tries not to capture this in her own works.
Born and raised in Durban, South Africa, Sian moved to the UK at 22 years old and lived in and amongst London's rich, vibrant culture. Whilst in London Sian started a family and now the family of three resides in the North East of England, where she believes that the lifestyle here has helped her to be more content which in turn has helped her creativity flourish.
Sian believes her style is continually developing and is excited to see what the future holds in her new art career.
The artist said, "Taking a big leap becoming a freelance artist is probably the biggest challenge I have ever faced, but I believe in myself deeply and have much support from close friends and family. I want to be a good example for my son too, to let him see and realise how his mommy had a dream, chased it and conquered it. I need him to believe that he can also be anything he wants if he sets his heart and mind to it!"
